Hey guys! I know the contest is very much over. Unfortunately, I only had the time to officially submit 2 of my 7 creations due to editing and time constraints. Like I say in the video, there is nothing miniature about the price of these 5 products!
I forgot to take legit swatch pictures instead of showing my hand to you in the too-bright filming of the video! Please don’t hate me. =]
So I thoroughly enjoy the Style Warriors products I chose. Bright Future is definitely unlike anything I have, and I can vouch for a lot of yellows. The 120 Palette doesn’t really have something as complex as this color. If I had taken PICTURES, maybe you’d understand, but since I’m a sillyhead, that won’t happen right now. Bright Future is bright goldenrod yellow with a honey duochrome. That’s the best way I can describe it, cheesy as it sounds! It really is gorgeous (and is a veluxe pearl). And don’t even get me STARTED on the lipglass! Fierce & Fabulous stays true to its name. It’s a dazzling shade of magenta with red and blue reflects. The result of this craziness is phenomenal! I myself don’t have a lipgloss like this in my collection. It goes on pretty opaque, and has a doe foot applicator.
Let’s be honest. People bought Style Warriors for the packaging. I know I did! That lipglass is going to remain in mint condition haha! I’m not a bronzer kindof girl so I wasn’t pumped about this, but I did snag my two items.
Naked Honey left something to be desired, though I still want to give Buckwheat a chance. Creme de Miel was a nice basic color to add to my very small MAC Collection. Pollinator looks gorgeous in the pan but even a thick swatch of the finger doesn’t do it justice. It’s not too impressive, but I’ll still use it for something, I’m sure. Pollinator would be good for a very airy bridal look, or just any fresh and feminine look with delicate colors. The highlighting powder was nice when I swatched it, but a few days later I applied it to my cheekbones and found it VERY opaque. Please use a light touch when working with Honey Light!
Everyone I’ve heard from says the fragrances and body products smell terrible, and nothing like honey. Don’t go into MAC looking for Lush! I’ve heard good things about the skin salve, but I don’t have a burning desire to go get one. Besides getting Buckwheat, I’m pretty content with what I have.

And MySpace, I had to rummage through the CSS code just to take the (yuck!) cheesy denim background that was in there before. I’ll have quite a time making my own background look right =/.)

So I finally finished this blasted logo and it’s all gravy! It’s saved to a high resolution and is transparent, so it should look good on any color, any size. Then, I designed my business card in a few hours at work the other day. I’m so happy with the results! Really, I just had to play around with the different brushes I have. I’m going to use my other free time at work to generate matching graphics for this here blog, my YouTube channel, my MySpace page, and my Twitter page. So everything will be consistent! Not to mention I love the colors and everything =].
